Emotes not showing then defaulting to just the text. #7709

Describe the bug
Options show up in the emotes list when I type it in, like :catJam: but then it shows no image for the emote, then after that it just defaults to the regular text: catJam
Steps to reproduce
I type :catJam: and see that it is a emote that should show up, however there is no preview.
After a while it just shows up as catJam
animated emotes are turned on.
Expected behavior
the emote to show up in chat without issue. currently nothing shows up at all
