Plans to add support for this anytime soon? What would the level of reverse engineering be needed to complete this. Has anyone looked at the scope in IDA or Ghidra?

Interesting - thanks. But that needs alien storm to run and only builds on windows. Would be great to be able to build from full source like this project to run on MacOS.

This purely based on my experience trying to get it running on Mac, so take it with a grain of salt:
The portal 2 branch is different enough that we’d need a leak from a higher branch to feasibly get a Mac build going.
Since gmod has a 64 bit branch that runs on Mac, you can mount portal 2, and use GP2 to at least experience some functionality, but there’s not many good options. With what we’ve got currently, it’s either that or using some wine derivative (I’m happily using wineskin winery)

Thanks for the info. Maybe I will look at wineskin. I want to play the full experience :-)

The main issue you'll run into with wine will likely be visual issues. When I was trying to get everything working, these were the best settings / techniques I found for eliminating the most issues.
