Migrate from main.tmpl

As far as I know Source Code Filters are slowly going away, so we should probably migrate main.tmpl away from using them before this happens.

But what template language should we use instead?

I am not sure if we really need a templating language for this, it should be possible to write this as plain-old nim procedures with std/strformat (or similar), right? I don't mind if the end-result is a little bit ugly, since the current approach is a lot worse. (And slowly being deprecated)

Edit: Looking a bit into main.tmpl, it defines three procedures (and a template), two of which are used only once in the entire program.

• genThreadsRSS() is used in forum.nim to serve /threadActivity.xml (View)
• genPostsRSS() is used in forum.nim to serve /postActivity.xml (View)

I don't think this kind of usage really deserves a dedicated templating language. The template is used a lot in the source filters itself.

I have to wonder though, does the nimforum instance on forum.nim-lang.org call the unused procedure genRSSHeaders? Because if I view the source of any page on there, I can see it being called but when I run a nimforum instance locally, I don't get the same headers in the page source.

Well my idea was that if we where replacing source code filters we might as well do it properly.

I agree that those two procedures by themselves don't really warrant adding a templating language to the forum though. So I guess since the usecase is so small a simple quick-and-dirty fix is good enough.

The genRSSHeaders procedure is never called on the live forums. It normally runs the exact code found here and in nimlang/forum.nim-lang.org, although right now I'm running it off-of the autospam branch testing out some spam filtering. These headers are added in elsewhere now I believe, but it might also be on the same branch.
