Using nxvim with the VSCode neovim extension?

I use the neovim vscode plugin when I need some vscode features but still want to use neovim binds and some plugins. I used to use lazyvim and it automatically disables some plugins when in vscode and hides the modeline. Is there a way to do this in nixvim? Is anyone doing this?
