Wallpaper is reset to default after some time

I want to use the pictore of the day wallpaper plugin.
I use the following config:

home-manager.users.chris.programs.plasma = {
  enable = true;
  overrideConfig = true;
  workspace.wallpaperPictureOfTheDay.provider = "bing";
} 

This works fine, but after some time (or after a standby / wakeup for a longer time). My wallpaper gets reset to the default wallpaper again. As soon as i log out and log in again plasma-manager will set the wallpaper plugin again and it will work for some time.
