unable to run in Debian 13

Bug Report

Unable to run with Debian 13, previously worked with Debian 12, but now 'chat' fails to start

Steps to Reproduce

1. cd /home/boudiccas/AI/gpt4all/bin
2. chat

Expected Behavior

The excutable chat runs and opens gpt4all.

From the terminal

[Debug] (Mon Aug 18 12:54:28 2025): SingleApplication: Cannot communicate with primary so assuming primary status.

Your Environment

• GPT4All version: 3.10.0
• Operating System: Debian 13
• Chat model used (if applicable): It never gets as far as this!

I've now done a bare-back installation of Debian 13, and I can run chat. And if I run it from the command line it shows these errors.

Failed to load libllamamodel-mainline-cuda.so: dlopen: libcuda.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Failed to load libllamamodel-mainline-cuda-avxonly.so: dlopen: libcuda.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

So it seems that I'm still missing some libraries.

Can anyone tell me what I should also install to get rid of the above errors, please?
