Macros in Neorg

Hi everyone,

I've been using neorg for about 2 weeks and I love the integration with neovim, which I spend most of my time in anyways, but I'm so confused about macros in Neorg?

I was reading the specs for norg and they mention creating/using Variables using $variable syntax and macros using =macro =end syntax as well as mentioning what will happen when a macro is expanded, but nowhere does it say how to do the actual expansion, nor can I find anyone online talking about it.

Am I missing something? Are they just not implemented or do I need an extension or something? Thanks in advance!

*Side note what colour scheme is everyone using? Most nvim schemes don't seem to do anything for coloring bold/italic fonts
