New Features

• Batch tasks for flow starts, broadcasts, timeouts, expirations are now all throttled based on Outbox size using a new queue throttled mailroom queue.
• Flow starts and broadcasts can be interrupted from the UI.
• New user management UI that better handles workspaces with lots of users.
• Ticket teams and topics now fully manageable in the UI allowing gating of ticket access by team and topic.
• Overhaul of models and triggers used for counts, greatly improving performance of some counts such as flow segment counts.
• New UI section for managing API tokens, allowing users to have multiple tokens, revoke existing ones etc.

• Stricter permissions for staff users servicing workspaces to avoid accidental changes to customer data.

Other Changes

• Channel logs now written to DynamoDB instead of S3.
• Minimum required Python version is now 3.12.
• Cloudwatch now used for all metrics (replacing Librato) and metrics audited to be more useful for monitoring deployment health.
• Admins can no longer create Viewer role users as this role will be removed in subsequent release.
• All remaining Android Surveyor code has been removed.

Deployment Notes

• Run manage.py migrate_dynamo after manage.py migrate to create DynamoDB tables.
• Mailroom, Courier, Indexer and Archiver all now have DEPLOYMENT_ID config setting which is used for metrics reporting to Cloudwatch.
• All Librato config settings in Mailroom, Courier, Indexer and Archiver are removed.
• Config setting to set AWS region is now called *_AWS_REGION rather than *_S3_REGION, i.e. MAILROOM_AWS_REGION COURIER_AWS_REGION, ARCHIVER_AWS_REGION
• COURIER_S3_FORCE_PATH_STYLE and MAILROOM_S3_FORCE_PATH_STYLE become COURIER_S3_MINIO and MAILROOM_S3_MINIO respectively.
• Config settings COURIER_S3_ATTACHMENTS_PREFIX and MAILROOM_S3_ATTACHMENTS_PREFIX dropped - this is always "attachments".
• Indexer now requires INDEXER_AWS_ACCESS_KEY_ID, INDEXER_AWS_SECRET_ACCESS_KEY and INDEXER_AWS_REGION for cloudwatch metrics.
• New Django setting DEFAULT_EXCLUSIONS contains the initially checked exclusion options for Start Flow and Send Broadcast.
• New Django settings SEND_HOURS_WARNING and SEND_HOURS_BLOCK control when to warn or block a flow start based on the estimated send time.
