When a user searches for a document, there is no indication to the user that the search was successful although the page refreshes the new search results. Present an indicator to the user that a search was completed. This could be accomplished by relaying the number of search results to the user. Doing so will allow users to be aware of the need to refine their search using the checkboxes before they enter them.
