Work have been done in #1202 but we can't be sure it's done until 5.3 is released.

I'm not sure what you mean here. Do you mean you're waiting for the final release of the compiler to release odoc? If so, i would encourage to release way earlier like it was done in the past. The compiler is quite stable once frozen and especially as it is nearing its beta phase. Especially its parsetree and featureset.
