Highlighting and copying text in MicroUI

Something I noticed about MicroUI is that you can't highlight text not found in text fields. You can add custom controls in in rxi's implementation (I don't know about Odin, haven't tried myself). I just want to know if there are any workarounds, or if I may need to implement a custom control.

It's called "MicroUI" for a reason. It's a starting place. It's not meant to be complete by any stretch.
