Want to contribute some glossary terms, but looks a bit inactive

I'd love to add some definitions as I really like this site. As others have mentioned it does seem a bit inactive and I just want to know if it makes sense to just contribute them or to just copy over the glossary to my own page. I may do both anyways.

I would like to add some definitions for some open movements that are referenced, but not defined:

• open hardware movement
• open music
• improve intellectual property from intellectual property rights as this takes a rather opinionated and dismissive stance and isn't defined in good faith. People are entrenched in a property-driven system so I believe it's important that this is defined with that understanding of where people are coming from. For example, the author's guild is an attempt to save authors from exploitative publishing houses, but also gets individuals who share their materials mixed into why they aren't profiting off their hard work.
