Having a similar issue. Updated Windows 11 to 24H2 and cannot get VBoxVMService to start. After starting the service, it immediately stops again. Have uninstalled and reinstalled and no success. Nothing obvious in the log:
01/14/2025, 18:39:32 - C:\vms\VBoxVmService64.exe
01/14/2025, 18:39:32 - C:\vms\VBoxVmService.ini
01/14/2025, 18:39:32 - C:\vms\VBoxVmService.log
01/14/2025, 18:39:32 - VBoxVmService started.
01/14/2025, 18:39:32 - List all the VMs found by VBoxVmService
The service starts but the configured virtual machines do not start.
No error messages are displayed. It simply does not work. In the previous version of Windows 11 VBoxVMService works normally.
