Suggestion: A standardized way to add OPDS feeds to apps

Like a QR code that you can scan that translates to a JSON object or some other format that contains links and authentication data.
As things are right now there seems to be a lot of copying and pasting necessary to add an OPDS feed to most apps.

If anyone knows of an app that has resolved this in a good way then please share it!
