This is for Subteam 1 in the Open Austin data research hub umbrella. This subteam handles
- evangelizing the research hub to local orgs
- building/maintaining those relationships to add low-stakes questions to populate Col A in the hub
The Open Austin data research hub is a shared community resource for us to ask and answer questions about our neighborhoods. As this hub grows, we'll strengthen our understanding of Austin and help orgs and individuals alike to tackle big problems at the neighborhood level.
Description of role
Subteam 1, Subteam 2, and our Data Practice Meets are all kind of rolled together. We're looking for someone(s) to coordinate and conduct info interviews following the draft research brief (next section, second bullet). That could be you! Because Subteam 1, Subteam 2, and our Data Practice Meets are currently/mostly interchangeable, we're looking for people that can be active on the #practice-data-nerds channel and (on occasion) come to the Data Practice Meets.
