A currency field looks identical for situation A:
the value is 0
and situation B:
the value is null

Situation B however triggers validation - but Situation A does not:

This can create confusion for the submitter as all these fields look identical, but the data is not:

This can only be solved when replacing formio. This will be discussed in the upcomming community meeting.
