I would think these are the required code changes for this issue:

• Add opa.ignore to 'README.md' and 'src/extension.ts'
• Add '--ignore .git' to https://github.com/patrick-east/vscode-opa/blob/0b8c9e54e4fcce788d8c1dd3dc2b808a5204d3de/src/opa.ts#L194
