hostmetricreceiver concurrent processing

hostmetric use scraperhelper.NewMetricsController controller, why controller not use concurrent processing scraper ？If the processing time for the middle scraper is too long, will it affect the subsequent unprocessed scrapers?

I'm encountering the same issue. especially when using prometheusexporter, which results in the host metrics(like cpu seconds counter) pulled by prometheus not being continuous according to the scrape interval
