We would like to inquire about role management within Open Data Hub. Specifically, we are interested in knowing if it's possible to limit users' permissions to create projects based on assigned roles. Could you please advise us on how to configure or manage user roles to achieve this functionality?

Hi,
ODH is built on OpenShift. If your RBAC (Role and RoleBinding) is well-defined within OpenShift, the permissions should align with how ODH grants access to users and groups.
Do you have any specific use case want to discuss here?

Hello,

We’ve identified the issue — it was related to the system:authenticated group having the self-provisioner role, which was allowing users to create projects even when we didn’t intend to. We've now removed that role from the group, and everything is working as expected.
