Today, I was trying to merge innocent PRs opened by Renovate as I wanted to cut a new release. When I started merging the PRs, I realized that the number of PRs are not less. Renovate started to automatically open new PRs for updating other dependencies as well. I assume it is because a limit set for currently opened PRs, however, it is more than annoying.
Batching the PRs (i.e., bumping multiple dependencies in one PR) could be a great thing to reduce the amount of work needed for maintenance and eliminate the clicking war I had to fight with Renovate today.
