Script installation issues on ubuntu 18

I was able to get through most of the script, but near the end, the script asks for a password, specifically "Please enter a new SSH password to secure your system" and I have tried typing something new like it asks or the root password, and everytime I type the first password, it immediatly goes to the second entry "retype password" and it immediately skips to the next line and complains that they dont match and quits out. I assume its ok to press enter after the first password is typed in.

Enter new UNIX password: Retype new UNIX password: Sorry, passwords do not match
passwd: Authentication token manipulation error
passwd: password unchanged
root@emoncms:# ^C
root@emoncms:#

Ran the new script recently and did not notice this issue with Ubuntu20.04.

As that is LTS I suggest this is closed @TrystanLea
