A QGIS project that displays correctly in QGIS showed corrupted legend items when opened in qfield. I've narrowed the issue down to a simple scenario where a rule-based symbology is used that adds two extra levels of hierarchy.

Structure in QGIS:

In qfield, all subsequent symbols in the legend are corrupted, so this looks like a bug.

@robinjonesuk , good issue reporting, it's been fixed here (#6004). It'll be deployed on the play store as part of the imminent QField 3.5 release.
