Print layout files : incorrect map_scale value (QFIELD for Windows)

What is the bug or the crash? What were your expectations and what actually happened?

I have prepared an A4 Print layout which works fine with QGIS Desktop 3.40.5
The expected scale value 1:500 get displayed on the printout

However when I open the same QGS project file in QFIELD for Windows 3.7.4 and select the A4 print layout, the map scale value is different 1:521, when I expect to get 1:500

Steps to reproduce the issue

A4_ASS.zip

1. Open QFIELD for windows 3.7.4
2. Select the QGS project file from local disk
3. Select the Print icon from the Menu
4. Select the A4 print layout (cf : attached A4_ASS.qpt print layout file)
5. Verify the map scale on the PDF document that just opened

Reinstall QField

• I have a fresh install of the latest QField version, but the problem persists.
• Problem can be reliably reproduced, doesn't happen randomly.
• Problem happens with all files and projects, not only some files or projects.
