How to map county for United States?

I'm looking to map mainly US addresses, and I'm wondering what the recommendation is for saving county values, such as Broward, Orange, Miami-Dade, etc. The region property is the closest one, but according to the documentation, it refers to a province or area.

Heya, welcome! Can you explain which entity you're trying to apply these to? For example, we have the Position schema with a subnationalArea, Event with location, and of course nearly all entities have address.
