-d - Hash input on ots python command

It would by really nice to have the -d Hash Input possibility on python cient, just as we have it on Javascript client.
How can it be done?

I'm working on a re-write of the OpenTimestamps Client in Rust. So I'll implement that feature as part of that rewrite; Python's command-line argument handling makes implementing that now somewhat convoluted.
