Hello!
I've been on another stint to improve my experience using Jellyfin for my music collection. My big never-ending mission has been to tag ALL my music with genre tags to create relationships between different parts of my collection, and using those tags to generate playlist that can include any track in my library, while exluding the types of music I'm not in the mood for.
In that process I found Jellify, and more interestingly, your plans to create a plugin powered by essentia to analyze the music in a jellyfin library.
AudioMuse-AI has been the easiest way I've found to get essentia to process my music, as compared to tools like beets-xtractor.
It leaves something to be desired in my case, as what I've been looking for should tag my music in ways that clients like Symfonium (or Jellify :D) can use, or even plug into Jellyfins instant mix feature.
AudioMuse-AI can currently only generate playlists that get added into jellyfin to be listened to later, but it seems to already do a lot of the stuff you are looking to implement.
Their plugin repo is here: https://github.com/NeptuneHub/AudioMuse-AI
