How to work with Events?

This sample has 2 branches, the second branch will run only when an Event will be turned on.

It uses an  ‘Event’ variable.

 

Event is a type of synchronization mechanism that is used to indicate to waiting processes when a particular condition has become true.

 

Steps.

1. Define an ‘Event’ variable
2. Drag the Event variable into the flow for ‘Set Event’ (it is also possible to drag ‘Set  Event’ from the ‘tools’, under ‘Variables)
3. Turn on the Event

 

 

1. Drag ‘Wait For Event’ into the Flow
2. Open the ‘Wait For Event’ and define it to wait for the {Event} variable to turn on.

1. Run the Test
2. The Message "The End" will be activated only when the Event  will be turned on .
