GUI Automator - Java plugin installation

Step #1

Ranorex.Plugin.Java.dll needs to be copied to the Ranorex plugin directory.

Windows 7 c:\ProgramData\Ranorex2\Plugins\

Windows XP c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Ranorex2\Plugins\

Check if Plugin added to Ranorex:

 

1. Open Ranorex SPY
2. Click on Ranorex Icon (at a the top right)
3. Check list of plugins (make sure that Java plugin appears)

Step #2

 

Copy the attached files to the Java runtime folder (can be found in the Control Panel\Programs\Java\Java\View...)

 

1. accessibility.properties -> "Java root"\jre\lib
2. RanorexAutomation.jar ->"Java root"\jre\lib\ext
3. JavaHelper.dll ->"Java root"\jre\bin

Step #3Reopen the Studio and check if GUI Automator's SPY is able to recognize the application's object.
