Changing the RED status to GREEN status

Hi everybody,

I have a question about Weblate translation.

Regarding my screenshot, I have attached it.

I have translated some sentences from English to Persian, but the color on the left side is still RED. Actually, the RED sentences are just Computer commands and can not be translated into Persian. How can I change the status of the translated field to approved GREEN color?

If you hover on the red bar, it will tell you more. If you click on the string to open it in full editor, it will also tell you more.

My guess is that Unchanged translation check was triggered.

Yes, I think Unchanged translation check was triggered. How can I enable strict-same flag on my full editing page? I can not find any flag insert location. Thank you.

You need to go into the full editor, this is not available in zen.

I never used Zen mode. I always use the full editor as you can see in my screenshot.

I would appreciate let me know where I should set the strict-same flag. Thank you.

You should instead use ignore-same and not strict-same (which has the opposite effect)

I you want to set the flag at component level, you can go to Component settings, and under the Translation tab, add the ignore-same flag to the Translation flags field.

If you want to set the flag just for this string, you can edit the Flags field in the "String information" box on the right pane.

Or you can just ignore the warning for this specific string by clicking the "Dismiss" button under "Unchanged translation" check warning on the right pane

Unfortunately, my settings menu does not have a Glossary option!

Also, in preference section there is no field that named translation flag!

"Glossary" is just the name of my component, in your case it will be articles/vpn_ipsec/index , or any other component name.
And in the last screenshot you shared, I believe you are looking at the User's settings, not the component settings.

I found the "Manage" menu, but it does not have a "Settings" option, as you can see in my following screenshot:

I read your links, but I could not find any information about that.

How can I activate that "Settings" in my "Manage" menu? Thank you.

Oh. So you may not have the permission to edit the component. If there's no option for you to get that, you can only work at the string level (AFAIK)
