I have recently started getting hundreds of emails every day from my weblate instance with a redis BusyLoadingError, any idea what could be causing this or how to fix?

Actually I might have solved the issue, I found these entries in the redis log:

Another thing I noticed was that all of these requests were coming from 47.79.0.0/16 = Alibaba in Singapore, and I see that other weblate hosters have had similar trouble with DDOS attacks (https://discuss.tryton.org/t/ddos-on-translate-service/8535). I also received a notification from my VPS that there was some kind of DDOS attack and they ran my traffic through their antiDDOS infrastructure while the peak lasted. In any case I have provided to ban the CIDR blocks from the posted article, this should help somewhat too I'm hoping.

Is WEBLATE_ANUBIS_URL only an environment variable available in the docker container? I run my weblate instance with uwsgi, no docker, and I don't see WEBLATE_ANUBIS_URL among the documented settings.

Anubis integrates into webserver, so it's up to you in this case. In the docker container it affects built-in nginx.
