Hello, Thanks for reaching out and sorry for the late answer :) We commercialize an open-source Argos SMD solution: a 2×2 cm module that’s easy to integrate into almost any design and controlled via AT commands over UART. It can be used alongside your host MCU as a co-processor for satellite uplinks. We provide both a breakout board and a full kit so you can test/use the module quickly. The module is pre-certified for the Argos/Kinéis network. Regarding communication costs, these are set by the Kinéis program; we don’t control the airtime/pricing. We can, however, point you to the right contacts and share practical guidance on message size/frequency planning. Regards |

Hello, I am working in the development of an hybrid tracking sistem using LoRa as part of my master degree project. I want to add a sattelite fallback into the tracker, but I do not feel in the track searching for information. I came up with arribada initiative on internet, it call my attention the "Open & Accessible Technology for Wildlife, People & Planet". can you please share information regarding available satellite modules that are affordable? does this exist a plan for affordable data trasnmission to satellite if some conditions (like tranmission package weight, frecuency of operation) are meet?
I would like to receive some help from your side.
