Failing to run planning simulation - can't change to autonomous mode

Hi,

I'm new with autoware. I followed the installation and build instructions here
And tried to run the planning simulation as described here

I manage to set the route. But in the AUTO button on OperationMode in AutowareStatePanel is disabled (grayed out).

Trying to manually start the vehicle by running:

source ~/autoware/install/setup.bash
ros2 service call /api/operation_mode/change_to_autonomous autoware_adapi_v1_msgs/srv/ChangeOperationMode {}

resulted with ERROR:

Please check if the following situations have occurred:

Is the AUTO button always in this state?

2. Is there a prompt for the console to crash when this state occurs, such as in behavior_ Path_ The planner module has a core issue;

3. If so, please recompile with the Debug version.

Yes, the AUTO button is always disabled. The system does not crash. Its allows me to set the path, but not to got to auto mode. I just see the error in the log:

I had the same issue with the AUTO button greyed out. This might be because ROS2 and Autoware were built using different python versions. If you are in a Conda env, deactivate it, remove the previous build (rm -rf build install) and rebuilt Autoware using colcon build. This might solve your issue.

In my case, I restarted my PC and it worked.

i restart the pc but the planning only works for 1 to 2 times and then again the same issue.
