Citedrive 4.0 Maximum library size?

Hallo,

I have exported a toy library from endnote 21 as a bib file and I smoothly imported in Citedrive. I have a very large library in Endnote, short of 10,000 references. When I tried to import in citedrive the bib file containing the whole library I receive an error message. I cannot post it here because it lasts only for couple of seconds. So, I was wondering, if there is a maximum size (either in number of references or in GB) to a citedrive library.

Hi Giovanni,

Thanks for reaching out and for your kind words—I also got your email.

There’s no limit to your library size, but bulk imports are capped at around 1,000 items at a time, which is why you're seeing this error message. You'll need to divide your .bib file into more than 20 smaller imports, I’d estimate. I know it’s frustrating for anyone transitioning from other reference managers with larger existing libraries.
