[SOLVED] JDBC mariaDB - make older version persistent

hi folks,
since a recent update i have problems with the 3.5.x version of the mariadb driver. The 2.7.12 works fine.
(the new version dropped support for old-pw auth and I have to connect to a quite old DB that can not be updated to new-pw for many reasons. please no discussion about that :-))
Within the drivermanager i can switch the version. ok so far.
But after reboot the 3.5.n is activated again so i have to change it every morning.
Is there any way to make the change persistent?

You can uncheck the preference Check for new recommended driver versions on connect in Preferences->Connections->Drivers

Also, you can update DBeaver to the latest version - we fixed this behavior in 25.0.5
