value panel show vertical instead of horizontal

until a day, or so, ago when I showed results the results panel was horizontal and if I clicked a column and show the value panel that panel displayed vertical (to the right). Something changed that resulted in my value panel showing horizontal at the bottom under the results panel.
How can I put the value panel back to vertical presentation to the right side of the results panel?
