New edit, add, duplicate, delete icons colours are awful IMO

Installed the community version 25.1.2 recently and I despise the new icons:

Why did the nice red and green go away. It made it instantly clear what the buttons did and now i have to rely on a + and - that are only 5 pixels wide on my display. What was so bad about the old style?

I get the buttons are in the same place and do the same things as before but they are just not as clear.
