How to get the project root/.envrc dir path

Hello,
Yesterday I struggled with that and couldn't find a working solution to that question.
I wanted to define $GOPATH to a sub-directory of the project so I tried several things with $0 and $BASH_SOURCE[0] but nothing did it. Those always hold what seems to be the direnv install dir.

Is there a smart way to do that? Maybe a builtin I couldn't find by myself?

Try export PROJECT_ROOT="$PWD" or export PROJECT_ROOT="$(pwd)" in .envrc .
