Yet another Docker Mailserver UI, but with OIDC baked in

Built Dockspace as a lightweight control panel for Docker Mailserver that runs without Docker socket access for day-to-day tasks. It manages mail users, aliases, and quotas, then rewrites the DMS config files from Django as the source of truth. On top, it ships an OIDC provider so the same accounts can sign into internal apps. Aimed at small teams that want mail plus single sign-on without paying for Google or Microsoft.

Why it might be useful

• Mail + identity in one place: One account powers mailbox auth and app login.
• No Docker socket required.
• DMS-native exports: Generates postfix-accounts.cf, postfix-virtual.cf, and dovecot-quotas.cf exactly as Docker Mailserver expects.
• OIDC built in: Issue clients, gate by groups, and optionally require TOTP per client.
• Database is the source of truth: Exports overwrite DMS config files each time you regenerate.

What I’d love feedback on

• Gaps or sharp edges you see for a combined mail + identity workflow.
• Any DMS compatibility concerns with the generated files.
• Requests for additional guardrails.

!!! It will overwrite your current Docker Mailserver configs !!!

Exports are generated directly from Django and replace the live DMS files each time you run them. Point DJANGO_DMS_OUTPUT_DIR at the same directory Docker Mailserver mounts for postfix-accounts.cf, postfix-virtual.cf, and dovecot-quotas.cf to keep everything in sync.

looks great, you did a great job with the UI and the user messages.
Does your project handle new mailbox creation? alias management? is the mailbox user passwords handled by dovecot?

Yes it handles all of that.

Also I have severely changed the UI since this post to be even better.

I decided I wanted to use VueJS instead of plain html css

it does not detect mailboxes currently it just overwrites them so. if you have mailboxes currently then it will overwrite so beware
