I would like to see support for the following functions of the RFbeam V-LD1 Radar Distance Sensor:
-read the distance
-set the parameters

What are your use cases for this component?

I would use the sensor to monitor the level of an watertank, where a a01nyub ultrasonic sensor has bad readings because of the beam pattern.
