Description

When creating a withdrawal in another currency (EUR) than my native one (CHF), the manually add "Foreign Currency" (CHF) is not included anymore in the budget spent/leaving.
PS: it seems to be the same issue that I reported in ticket #9810 - hence i'm using the same wording

Expected behaviour

My default currency is CHF (and my budgets are CHF as well).
When creating a withdrawal in Euro and manually adding a foreign amount in CHF, this amount should included in the total spent of the budget.

Steps to reproduce

Example with CHF as native currency and EUR expenses:

1. Create a 10 CHF expenses
2. Create a 10 EUR expenses, manually add the foreign currency in the native one (eg 9 CHF)
3. Check budget: spent = 10 CHF, not 19 CHF

The foreign amount is not considered for budgets. This is by design.

Hello, thanks for reviewing the ticket.
Is there any chance to see this as a configuration option in the future? I don't really see how i can handle random expense in another currency in my budget right now
