How can I see net worth in my native currency?

I have two asset accounts:

• Account A in EUR
• Account B in CUR

Say my default currency is EUR and I have bought some X amount of a different currency CUR., by paying Y EUR.
I create a Y EUR withdraw from A and a X CUR deposit in account B.
I have also set up the exchange rates from/to EUR/CUR, but I would have expected to see transaction in account B to be automatically converted based on the input excange rates and also have an overview of my net worth in my default currency.
Now I just have two values, one in EUR, one in CUR.

Am I missing the point of having exchange rates? I really can't figure this out.
