Describe the enhancement

There are Options to create automatic and manually Backups. Once started one Backup you have to wait until the backup is done before you can start another backup. If you have multiple Backup jobs e.g to different locations it will be useful to select all jobs and start with a single click.

If you have multiple Backup jobs e.g to different locations

It would make much more sense, to have a single backup job with multiple targets, as it would create the backup only once and then just push it out to all locations.

you can do this of course, but it is not possible to start automatic backup and manual backup with one simple click..

Sorry, but I don't get it, why one want to start the automatic and the manual backup at the same time, further the manual backup need input parameters first, before it starts, while the automatic backup is already configured and starts immediately.
So both are intended for different purpose

Did you see the picture.... it would be great just to checkmark both to get the backup done...
Sometimes there are things you will not get as it does not meet your requirements, but other people do it different.
The Settings for manual backup are set once, so it should be possible to select both an press start to do the backup, that is the only intention.

Exactly therefore I asked for the use case, so I can get an understanding for this request 😉

nope, the manual backup task is supposed for "ad-hoc" backups with different settings as the automatic backup task has. So the user needs to/can select the needed settings on every manual backup run.
So both tasks have quite different intentions (automatic backup is configured as the "all time regular" backup, manual backup is for "ad-hoc customized" backups)

i know, but sometime, e.g. before you do an update, you´ll like to do both backups at once and then start the update. In my case i´ll do both updates as i am running an docker image. so i have my the same version backup on 2 different places. No, i don´t want to do a scheduled backup to different places, one manual and one scheduled is normally enough, but as i described, i trigger both before i update the docker image.

and why not just run a manual backup and select both backup locations? You've to configure the manual backup task on every run anyway. So I still don't get the use case here ... the manual backup task is not a "one-click" task - it always needs to be configured
