One use case is, simply and without complex tricks, to be able to expose HA entity to some closed system to perform for example voice control (for example with Alexa, google Home or Homekit).

If HA is seen as a matter bridge and can expose a list of entities to be interacted with, it creates a very simple way to expose HA entities out of HA, including but not limited to:

• HA controlled equipments and entities
• HA informations not available to those systems
• HA scripts or triggers to control complex scenarios
