Is it possible to use already existing @transcode files?

Hello, I recently upgraded Jellyfin on my NAS with the idea of using it more. Something that was annoying me previously and that still does is the fact that Jellyfin finds the local @transcode folder the QNAP application generates and Jellyfin interprets them as different versions of the same movie or TV show. Those files are local to each folder, and I would love Jellyfin to use those instead of having to delete them and make Jellyfin create its own versions.
Is this possible or is a new feature request?

That is indeed similar. But in my case, I already have the files transcoded, I just want to use them

Well, I could automate the creation of .ignore folders, but it is a bit of a pain point. It will be better to have one ignore list configurable just like git does. I didn't saw a feature request about it. Can I create one?

For those of us using tools like tdarr if you wanted to have x264 and x265 version but kept them in the same folder that would be hard to do as tdarr would attempt to transcode them. I understand multiple resolutions would likely work but not encodings. So I am curious if the ignore list is really the preferred way to do this

How does it work? I just put a .ignore file at the root and I put there the patterns I want to match?

Yes. It should work similar to gitignore.
An empty .ignore file works like before, excluding the folder that contains the file. But if it contains text, the server tries to parse it and applies the rules to all files and sub-folders.
