Media keeps playing in background / Now Playing bar doesn’t update after pausing

Hi, I’ve been running into an issue where the media continues playing in the background even after I pause or close the Jellyfin player.

When I pause a movie in the Jellyfin app, the Now Playing bar (media control notification) on Android still shows the media as playing.
If I don’t manually close it from the system tray, the playback continues in the background — and the Jellyfin server still reports the session as active.

Is this a known issue, or could it be specific to my device?
Should I enable or disable any particular setting (like background playback) in the Jellyfin Android client to prevent this behavior?
