Changing the default parameters for Ramp output and Trigging of the input signals

When I connect the linien-client GUI with the linien-server, it starts the ramp signal with full range. I don't want to send the ramp in the laser with this amplitude. How can I set the default parameters for ramp (center and amplitude)? Or how can I ensure that ramp is not enabled by default?

Also, I am not able to trigger the monitor signal in the linien-GUI. Any suggestions regarding it would be appreciated.
