Play audio on host device

I would like to request the ability to play audio on the host device. Specifically, when running as a Home Assistant add-on.
My stereo system isn't network-capable, so I have it connected to the machine running Home Assistant OS using an audio cable. I would like to have Music Assistant play through that cable.

Home Assistant Add-ons are able to play audio, as can be seen with the Spotify Connect add-on in the official community repository.

I currently work around Music Assistant not supporting this by running a self-written squeezelite add-on in home assistant, which is then used by Music Assistant. However I would prefer having this supported by Music Assistant itself to reduce the number of addons and prevent the additional network transport (even if it's only in the virtual docker network).

Thanks. I tried searching for existing issues, but used different wording that didn't find those two issues.
The first one is a lot more specific, but could be used to implement what I want to do. The second one seems like what I want, just worded differently.
