Multi level sorting for Album view, examples: SortArtist=>Year or Genre=>SortArtist=>Year

I was looking at my collection in MA and I couldn't really find much... or rather, everything was were I didn't expect it to be. I've tagged all my tracks with not only Artist (and where appropriate AlbumArtist) but also SortArtist and SortAlbumArtist. That way, The Beatles do not end up under T, Aretha Franklin you can find under F and so on and so forth.

So my first request would be to be able to select the "Sort" tags for sorting.

What's more, I would really appreciate multilevel sorting so that I can view all artists properly sorted, but in the list of an Artist, the albums can be sorted based on release year, instead of by name. Especially Artists with a lot of albums, they have evolved and changed over the years. It would be nice if the order of the albums showed that development, instead of just being a hodgepodge.

So, basically 2 requests:
-Can we sort on SortArtist?
-Can we say "first sort on this tag, then on that tag, then on that tag" to sort our music the way we want?

Unfortunately I cannot code, so I cannot judge the amount of work this would be, but I'm willing to help in other ways... let me know where I can be of service.

You can alsready sort by “sort name”

You cannot currently sort via multiple tags

My apologies for not explaining correctly. Originally, I started collecting vinyl and cds. Then came the digital age. The only way I feel I have an overview of my collection is to have album view. (or the wonderful coverview of iTunes of the long ago)

So, I have album view open (as all albums have coverart in the tags) and not Artist view (as most Artists do not have a picture and it doesn't show the albums in that view, also, albums with various artists do not have SortArtist info, so the order is even more messed up).

So my feature request is to be able select the sort based on multiple characteristics in Album view, first based on SortArtist, then on Year.

The goal is to be able to scroll through my collection, much like going through a record store. (with an owner with OCD) :)

It is an attempt to bring the music collection feeling back, that has been missing for me since the early iTunes days. It's about seeing the albums as if you can touch them, going through them in the right order to look for the next album to play.
