Quick update today as it was only myself and Vaibhav on the call.

Actions:

• Agreement on the way forward for the Hosting solution
  • Dan to cover the costs for a year of hosting with $400 from the gitcoin grant
  • Vaibhav to send the links over that we need to sign up to and Dan to do so this afternoon, then send over the credential details
• Vaibhav to finish migrating the last two strategies over to the new setup and then run the new crawl
• Dan to further investigate OP RetroPGF as to its viability for a funding injection in the autumn of this year (and whether that influences the roadmap over the coming months

Sorry I was not able to join for the call today.

Only update from me, is that I joined the kiwi news dev call yesterday and had a good chat with Tim and Mac. I shared my thoughts on what a unified data network might look (article in progress) as a more generalized substrate for building apps like kiwi and infra like Neume. Tim shared some of the challenges they face at the protocol level and similar challenges faced by Farcaster and others. He referred to this trend as the unbundling of blockchain, which is a framing I quite like since it describes the trend in a way that normies can grasp easily. This convo will help to inform the article I mentioned last week. Continued conversations with kiwi and other app communities that are part of this unbundling trend will help to identify the properties needed for something like a unified data network to exist and be generally useful.

This is relevant to Neume in that I think this unified data network concept could be the substrate on which we build out Neume as a network. I'll work to define this more clearly in the article with reference to neuIP-5 and the role it plays in this effort. Generally though, I think that deterministic schema/subset identifiers, cryptographic signatures, p2p networking, decentralized storage, and set reconciliation provide everything you need to define a unified data network as a shared substrate for the next wave of decentralized applications, including Neume.

Ditto on being sorry here. I wanted to join but preparations for swedish midsummer got in the way and I completely lost track of time. Happy to join next week but added some notes in the hosting discussion and happy to support however I can.
