Implement a reward/level up system (full stack)

Could you consider implementing a reward/level up system in your next React Native apps? Maybe something like the one in Duolingo.
Gamification is a big part to attract users; which I don't see many tutorials did yet.
Would love to see how it's implemented in the backend and the communication with React Native and so on.
